Butchart Gardens in Vancouver Island, British Columbia (October 2018)

with 2 Comments

Over the past weekend for Canadian Thanksgiving, I traveled to Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island to feast my eyes on the beauty of the Butchart Gardens. This 55-acre park, similar in size to the VanDusen botanical garden in Vancouver, included Japanese, Italian, and rose gardens. It was lovely to create new memories at Butchart Gardens, decades after visiting with my family. I was thankful to be able to see this National Historic Site of Canada again as an adult with new perspective and appreciation for the diversity in nature.
