Finding The Allure In Bedraggled Seattle (June, September-November 2018)

with No Comments

Old brick troubled by safety orange, construction sites.

Cranes flutter.

Uphill climbs and downward gazes

Downtown power walks, in and out of skid rows.

A work-in-progress city.

Zigzag through nifty gift shops and fresh fish;

A farmers market maze.

Stopping at pure pier stillness

The Great Wheel’s reflection

Taps the scales of Puget Sound.

The child within awakens

Under a warm pinkish-gray sky

Pierced by the Needle.
